Iranian films awarded at Happy Future Scripts Film Festival

Two Iranian films have grabbed awards at the Happy Future Scripts Film Festival "Let there be Goodness!" in Ukraine.

Iranian short film ‘Shoes’ by Hossein Darabi won the award for short fiction film (up to 6 minutes) at the Ukrainian event.

The film is about benevolence and altruism. It is produced by Soureh Film Club.

Meanwhile, ‘Saffron Based Lifestyle’ by Parisa Bajelan from Iran won the award for best documentary over six minutes.

The film is about Saffron and the lifestyle of the people involved in the production of the spice.

The Happy Future Scripts Film Festival "Let there be Goodness!" aims to “become a platform for creating and promoting films in the context of a happy, healthy, and peaceful future for all”, according to an online submission platform.

It also aims to show “pure, light ways and solutions to existing problems in society today”.

The 2021 edition of the festival took place on September 1-26.
